ValidIDy / MDAV

Lockstep Technologies developed one of the world’s first Verifiable Credentials wallets under contract to the U.S. Dept of Homeland Security. “Mobile Device Attributes Validation” (MDAV) was a three phase commercialisation project hosted by the Kantara Initiative Identity & Privacy Incubator. MDAV launched in the market as “ValidIDy“. Lockstep is the only Australian company to be awarded a DHS Science & Technology cyber security contract.

The MDAV Homeland Security Project

Over 2016-19 Lockstep was contracted by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, through the Kantara Identity and Privacy Incubator and the Rutgers University CCICADA centre.to develop the Mobile Device Attributes Validation (MDAV) wallet for First Responders.
