Salinger Privacy was founded by Anna Johnston, one of Australia's foremost experts in privacy law & practice.

Anna brings a breadth of perspectives and a wealth of experience to dealing with privacy and information management issues, based on her background as a lawyer, additional qualifications in public policy and management, and 15 years experience in legal, policy and research roles. Anna is the immediate past Chair of the Australian Privacy Foundation, and is a current member of the University of New South Wales’ Interpreting Privacy Principles project team. Anna has served on the editorial board of the Privacy Law & Policy Reporter, the Australian Law Reform Commission’s expert advisory group on health privacy, and the National E-Health Transitional Authority’s Consumer & Clinician Forum.
